I grew up in Elk River, MN and attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where I met my wife Lauri. Together we have three teenage children (Mackenzie ,Tanner, and Parker). I work in the Park & Recreation field organizing outdoor recreation school field trips and summer camps. I earned my BA from UW - Stevens Point and then my MA in Education from St. Mary’s.

I have been involved in the Connect Church children or youth ministry for the last 14 years. I truly enjoy working with youth and sharing the gospel of Jesus with them. Youth group is a great time of fellowship, singing (we have a youth worship band), games, and bible study. We also try to spend time “on the road” each month doing service projects or having fun doing an activity. In addition to youth ministry, I am a deacon at Connect Church. I am passionate about missions.

I have been involved with short term missions trips to Spain, Guatemala, & the South Texas/Mexico border. My desire is to follow the Great Commission and share the gospel with others.

In my free time, I love to go fishing, hunting, and camping with my family. One of my favorite spots is in a camp chair sitting by a campfire.

the school year.
