By the grace of God,  I was drawn to Christ when I was 35 yrs old.  I was reading the book of Matthew and God showed me that I was a sinner in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ.  Christ changed me, and enabled me to love Him and others.  The death of Christ and the righteousness of Christ pardons me from the wrath of God I deserve.  To His glory.  Psalm 100.

Things I enjoy:  

I enjoy the local church.  The best parts of the week are when the body of Christ comes together to worship the Lord and serve Him and His people.  I am thankful that I can serve the congregation as an elder.

I enjoy evangelism (telling others about Christ and why I and others need Him) and teaching the Word of God.

I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have a lovely wife, Lisa, two grown daughters and their husbands, Madison and Josh and Meghan and Clayton. I have recently been blessed with our first grandchild and our second will arrive soon!

Hobbies:  

Outside of church and family, I am passionate about fitness.  I go to FXB for the past 4 years to help me keep fit and active.  I also enjoy reading and traveling to warm places where there is a beach on the ocean.
