I grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN, graduated and went on to attend the University of Minnesota where I met my wife Dawnal. Together we have four children (Gwendolyn, Benjamin, Elijah and Josiah). I never went to school planning for ministry. I got my BA at the UofM in Political Science, then a JD from William Mitchell and then my MBA. I was blessed to be called as an Elder by the congregation of this church and from there was inspired to walk the path towards ordination. In 2020 I was called by this congregation to serve as an Associate Pastor as I work to complete my ordination training and requirements.

As the Associate Pastor, I do a little bit of everything. I serve the church through teaching and preaching and working with the youth group. I also serve the church as an Elder and Head Deacon. I am overjoyed to serve within the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and it is my desire and passion to work towards the vision of all Jesus for all of the world.

In my free time I love smoking meats and cooking. I love reading and spending time with my family. I collected comics when I was younger and today I love all things super-hero and sci-fi based. I also love cards and board games.

It is my prayer that the Lord may use me how he sees fit to bring glory to the name of Jesus in the Saint Michael community.
