Connect Church Prayer Gram

September 3, 2017

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,” 1Timothy 2:1

Thanksgiving: Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart   in the council of the upright and in the assembly. Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate. He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. (Psalm 111: 1-5)

Connect Church: Pray as we gear up for fall ministries (unashamed youth and Awana clubs). Pray for those who will be serving our youth and children, and for those who will be participating. Pray for open doors into the lives that the people of Connect Church come into contact for the proclamation of the gospel.  Pray for church unity so we would be obedient to the great commission and that we would be a beautiful bride for Christ.

Pray for those in authority over us.

Our City: Albertville council member: Aaron Cocking

Our State: Governor Mark Dayton

Our Nation: President Donald Trump

Requests for Spain (September 3-9)

Please continue to pray for Spain in the wake of the multiple terrorist attacks, and for opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel. We have 10 international workers who minister directly to North African immigrants.  Pray for boldness, as well as divine protection.  We praise the Lord that our Alliance family was not affected directly, but grieve with the many families who did lose loved ones in these tragic events.  Pray as well for government leaders in their response.

Please continue to pray for the Bethany School of Discipleship and Missions which concluded on August 31st. Please pray God’s blessing and protection over the 35 students, as well as the teachers and service team who were leading this strategic ministry.  The response of the students thus far has been excellent and very encouraging.

Please continue to pray for God´s financial provision to purchase the empty lot next to our Bethany House facilities in Alicante.  The owners have offered the property at a discount in light of the nature of the ministry of Bethany House to young people.  Pray for God´s supernatural supply for this strategic piece of property!  This land would enable us to enlarge the Bethany House project considerably.

Pray for our families in transition during the month of September.  Several families have recently returned to North America for Home Assignment.  Pray for those applying for visas or renewing residency cards, that these very important documents will be obtained without undue delay.
