Connect Church Prayer Gram

April 8, 2018

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions,

and thanksgivings be made for all people,” 1Timothy 2:1

Thanksgiving: “The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices

and praised the LORD with these words:

‘He is good! His faithful love endures forever!’”

2 Chronicles 5:13 NLT

Scripture prayer for our church family from 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12.

“To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling

and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Pray for those in authority over us:

Our City: St. Michael City Council Keith Wettschreck

Our State: Governor Mark Dayton

Partners in Spain-Prayer Requests for April 2018:

Workers on Home Assignment - Please continue to pray for Betsy Blanchard, and Tim and Marilyn Westergren who are currently in the States in their last full month of Home Assignment. They will return to Spain in mid-April. Pray for strength and God’s blessing on them during this time of transition, and for a safe trip back to Spain.

Annual Field Forum, April 23-28 - Please pray for this annual gathering of all our international workers in Spain and Portugal. Pray for our guest speaker, Rev. Ian Trigg, and for God’s blessing on the worship services, the prayer and sharing times, and the business sessions. Pray as well for the election of a new field director for Spain. Raymond Ebbett (current field director) and his wife, Mary, are concluding 25 years of ministry in Spain and moving back to the States at the end of June. Pray for them as they prepare for a final one-year Home Assignment and then transition toward retirement in 2019.

Persecuted Church: Nigeria

Pray with Nigerian Christians for their protection,

particularly for women at risk of being abducted and forced to marry Muslim men.

Pray for comfort for the thousands of displaced Nigerian Christians and for wisdom for Open Doors partners.

In northern Nigeria, Christian communities are often left without clean water, clinics and roads.

Ask God to provide for physical needs.
